God With Us….

There is a chorus to a song that communicates the truth of God’s love for humankind. The song is entitled “God with us” by Don Meon

He walked where I walked

He stood where I stand

He felt what I feel

He understands

He knows my frailty

Shared my humanity

Tempted in every way

Yet without sin

It is a beautiful expression of how God through his son Jesus Christ was born into this world. He grew into the perfect sacrifice. He endured everything that each of us would ever be challenged with. Regardless of the pathway that we travel, it is encouraging to know that he has already walked on the road before us. As a result, when heart rending situations and uncertainties creates circumstances of pain, disappointment, rejection, doubts and the list continues—Remember, that one thing is certain; he has already walked through all that was named and more and will use the situations to bind and strengthen our hearts and faith in him.

I worship today by declaring the truth of God’s word…He sees, He knows, He understands.  Forever worship

Isaiah 53: 2-5 “For He grew up before Him like a tender shoot, And like a root out of parched ground He has no stately form or majesty That we should look upon Him, Nor appearance that we should be attracted to Him. He was despised and forsaken of men, a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief; and like one from whom men hide their face He was despised, and we did not esteem Him. Surely our grief’s He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, Smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed”.
