 Oh Holy Place…
Genesis chapter one displays a beautiful and loving illustration of creation via God’s spoken (word) expression. The Lord God almighty spoke the world into being-- All that is known and things not known (seen) to men. WOW. I am in awe of his majesty. Why? In my quite time today, I reflected on the beginning of creation in (Genesis 1:2) “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless (void) and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters”.
After reading that verse of scripture, I redirected my attention to how empty, and unfulfilled my life was prior to receiving Jesus Christ as my personal savior…then, I was astonished as joy overwhelmed my soul. As such, I begin to thank him for speaking his word of love into my life. It was then that Genesis chapter one was viewed with new lenses. I begin to see that as the earth was "formless” the souls of mankind is void and empty without him. However, the creative word of God alone will fill the dark places.
His word is all powerful: When spoken it will fill the void, dark, and empty places in one’s life. It did mine. I worship today by declaring; nothing can compare with being in the presence of the Lord. Nothing!  Being in his holy place (presence) heals, restores, and makes alive again those areas in one’s soul where darkness tries to dwell. As you spend quality time in his holy place today, may those dark habitations of your life be filled with the light of his spoken expression. Forever worship Him!
