Wise Men Still Seek Him…

“And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh” Matthew 2:12 displays an awesome picture of the wise men that came seeking to WORSHIP Jesus. This scripture describe so eloquently the truth of what occurs in our lives as we begin to worship Jesus… “When they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him”… As a result; their treasures were opened. I have learned that in every (EVERY) situation worship is the key that will unlock the gifts that are placed within us.

Each day, we are allowed an opportunity to honor Jesus through our acts (actions) of worship. It is important to realize that when we see Jesus in the mist of it all (our circumstance) so to speak, the gifts placed within us will break open as we fall down before him. There were many situations that have tested my faith, hope and love in Him this year and in the previous ones-- I’m sure many can attest to this fact. But, through it all, I found that as I’m placed in the situations when I created an atmosphere of worship, the hidden treasures were poured into the situation and it became small when I fell down to praise, worship and honor him. I worship today, by declaring that wise men still seek him. May all understand the importance of seeking him in worship. Forever worship Him.
