Fear Not…
My personal confession as it applies to fear: Currently, I am working on a project that has exceeded the original date of the expected completion time. Why? Honestly, I wasn’t certain until I read one of my favorite passages in the bible-- Isaiah 43:1-3. "Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Then, I understood that the fear I was experiencing was only a result of me not totally depending on Christ to lead me through all tasks in life. SO, I stepped back to re-evaluate the situation…and, after carefully examining the matter, I learned that I was only a few miles, so to speak away from jumping over the final and major hurdle. It was only one last jump. If you are reading this worship blog, I would like to encourage you to FOCUS your eyes on Jesus and become mature in your love relationship with him…1 John 4:18 “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in” . Lord I place my confidence in you. I worship today by declaring that I will not fear, I will not worry, I will focus my eyes on Him. Below I have posted a YouTube video by Helen Baylor entitled “Fear Not My Child”. I pray that it blesses you as much as it did me. Foreverworship Him
