A prayer answered today!

God will make a way where there seems to be no way! Pink Precious Pearls, an encouraging & coaching ministry had a prayer answered today. Honestly, at the last minute we wanted to “do something” (as far as school su...pplies) for our single moms and their kids. A fleeting thought was to generate an email and letters inquiring about donations to help out. Realizing it was too late for that, we prayed. Best thing ever! We prayed last night specifically for school supplies for our moms to help defray the cost of these needed items. Our pray was answered today. Today, as I was leaving work, the East Point Police Department gave me a stack of fliers to pass out to any families in need of school supplies. What?! Really?!

I was SO excited. I’m thanking the Lord for answering this simple prayer speedily- No emails, no text messages, no letters. In addition, I shared that PPP encourages and coach single moms, which reside elsewhere. The Department Detective gave me her business card, informed us to call so that our organization will have school supplies for them as well. I am thankful for this step. It is the small steps that make the world of difference in the lives or our mothers. Single moms, please be encouraged in knowing that God truly will make a way where there seems to be no way.

Stay connected to Christ in all things. Because, he sees, he hears and he is concerned about you and your child/ children. I’m feeling some “kinda” way today, full of gratefulness and lots of emotions. I’m thankful! This is only the beginning, and oh what joy it is to witness the blessings as we begin small with our foundation and be faithful in a few things. Please keep single moms in your prayers and help out where you can, because miniature blessings make a HUGE difference for those in need. I know it put a smile on my daughter’s faces (and a load off of me) when I was a young single mom. Thank you in advance for keeping us in your prayers.
