You Rescued Me...

Each day is filled with renewed compassion mercy and grace. It is an opportunity for us to give the Lord praise, glory and honor that he deserves. Today, I reflected on my appreciation for the gift of salvation.  Remembering how desperate I needed to be pulled out of the ocean of hurt, pain and rejection, so to speak.  Also, how I desired the comfort of others, fulfillment in material possession, and entertainment that could not satisfy. I cried out to the Lord for help.  As a result, a spiritual lifeline was lowered to rescue me.  So, today, my heart is filled with appreciation, gratitude and overwhelming joy in him.

I worship today by saying, “Thank you God for your endless love towards me". He rescued me from sin and death.  May I forever worship him by sharing his compassion, love and freedom with others. As a result, may they too be pulled out of the ocean of sin, death and destruction to worship him forever. The Lord is faithful!  He rescued me and will do the same for all that turn from their idols.
..."They tell how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God, and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead-- Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath."
1 Thessalonians 9-10 NIV Worship Bible
