It Is What It Is…Is it, What Is It?
1 Corinthians 13:7 “Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.”
Most have already heard the phrase, “It is what it is”. Question? Is It, what is it? Is it keeping our eyes on Jesus so that our lives may reflect him in all we do and say? Is it not allowing circumstances to report the final decree? Is it letting go of all that matters in this life to serve Jesus-- especially past hurts and rejections. Is it we call others first instead of calling Jesus? Is it confiding in others to pray about a matter that was shared in confidence? Is it suspicion of others calling it discernment? Such lists continues with "It is what it is"... Is it, what is it? For me, it's become imperative to place all focus on Jesus…keep your eye single and your whole body will be full of light—there is no mistake or idolatry in this. Open up your own bible and study to show yourself approved--The Lord desires to establish a personal relationship with all that will come close to him. He will use you, me and others to share the truth of his word for his glory. Many may be used to share truth with you, but they are vessels to be respected and not to be worshipped. For me to accept the truth of where I am right now, I’ll have to say that I’ve made man the exclusive one. That’s idolatry. And I am guilty of making them my elite one. I’ve taken men personality, their words and lifestyle and equated it as the words of Jesus. That’s idolatry. I’m guilty and no one is to blame. The Lord command—No other gods before Him. Anything placed before God is an idol. NO idolatry allowed. NONE, particularly where loved ones, friendships, relationships; also where material possession are involved. There is godly order for such mentioned; however there are sacred areas of our lives R.S.V.Pd, so to speak only for JESUS. How do you separate friendships and relationship where parents, close friends, and leaders are involved? The answer is Simple…yet, I’ve had to learn the hard way. One must do as the angle declared in Revelation 22 verse 9 as John was in AWE of the eternal revelation, so in awe that he fell down to worship the feet of the angel yet the angel was only the messenger used to reveal the eternal glory to come--“WORSHIP GOD”, Worship Jesus, not man--No idolatry! There is a level of respect for those we love, however the height should not rise above Jesus Christ…He will lead and guide us into all truth, as we seek to be free—and shine light in the dark places that resides deep within us--He is faithful show us the truth about ourselves—
Once revealed, it must not be standing truth-- bible only, but eternal truth which; takes residence in our lives, grows to maturity and makes us free. One may know a thing, but it must be made a reality in their lives. I’ve learned that knowledge of something is not enough—it must take deep roots. Once it takes its roots, it will grow into a well balanced tree. A well balanced tree with branches that have leaves of genuine love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance--
Psalm 1:3 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers.

Love that protects and cover a multitude of sin. Love to endure and believe the best for brothers and sisters in the Body of Christ. Love to hope for only good things in their lives. Colossians 4:6 “Let your conversation be always full of grace”. Love, not a hypocrite, that’s firm and true, love despite the oppositions that carries us through; love to forgive and HIS love that is sure to heal. I will not settle for the phase “It Is What It Is”. I ask today-- Is It, What Is It? I’ve been through enough in my personal life to be hindered or pushed back into bondage of the lie of Satan- I will not neglect such a great salvation. Oh how I have made the Lord too small in my eyes. I am honest to communicate that I have made the Lord to small in my eyes. I’m repentant that I have limited him. I have not been accountable in my walk and I've hindered my own growth. I’m sorry. As I repent, I know that I am forgiven and all of my sins are washed away, placed into the sea of forgetfulness—never to be remember again. I'm confidence that The Lord will speak light into dark area of our soul, just as he spoke creation in the beginning. --AND there was light. Light that disposed all darkness.
Zephaniah 3: 17"The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love". There is balance in relationships, and there are true friendships that the Lord will allow to develop. Above all he desires sincere fellowship with all willing to come and worship him. If you are with people and you can’t tell them NO, That’s idolatry. If a person changes character against you because of the word NO, that‘s control and witchcraft. Answer. Be made complete in Jesus. Don’t be rejected, but allow the finished work on the cross to allow you to be made mature in your love for the Lord, and for others. If one is rejected and has not applied their “acceptance in the beloved” into their lives, they will avoid, hide and revert to darkness and not allow the light of Jesus to shine through. Matthews 5: 13 “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden”Don’t’ hide, but allow him to make you whole in the mist of it all. And, love enough to be hurt; let love cover a multitude of sin. Take up your cross and follow Jesus, to the place that he is certain to take you. It’s still the cross, and the blood of Jesus will never loses his power—power to change you, power to heal, save, power to live like him day-by-day. At all cost, I say; ARISE and share the wonderful power with others. No matter what be made whole. As there is NO respect of person in Jesus. I worship today by declaring, it is Jesus we seek to praise and worship. Forever worship Him.
